still catching up
10.08: well it is the day after my retirement and we are all exhausted...we just hung out at home and pretty much did nothing. Sam and Grandma Karen headed out to get some last minute stuff for their trip to Paris tomorrow. We had all kinds of drama yesterday about somebody throwing Abby’s piece of cake away, so I had to get cake mix and icing and bake her a cake! Funny thing is, they got in to it before I could even get it cut for them!!!! 10.09: Matt headed out to take Sam and Karen to the airport to catch their flight. Most of the day we kept up with where they were by following them online and watching the plane as it crossed the ocean! 10.09: Well, we assume that they made it to Paris safe and sound, but haven’t heard anything yet! So later on in the night the kids found the foam blocks and were throwing them...well, Matt, Ben and I ended up getting in on it and the kids had a blast! We had about 150 foam blocks EVERYWHERE! Abby and Peyton tried to hide in the bathroom and sneak around the corner, but we got them!!!!! We got to the point where WE were tired and told the kids we had to stop! I am skipping up until the 13th, when we got a Facebook message from Sam that said “We are ALIVE” hahahaha....so they made it to Paris and are having a blast....so pretty mush the week consisted of pictures of Sam and Paris
