I was really really frustrated, sad and angry one Friday evening. So I decided to go for scrap therapy. I remembered the rap I wrote some time ago on the topic of peer pressure - as single childless woman living in a rented place I get a lot of it, believe me.
The story of how I wrote the rap was pretty bizarre. I hired a Polish guy for some work in the kitchen (which he messed up big time and a colleague's hubby had to repair) and he kept asking for tools (should have brought his own, but whatever), so, when he asked the "Do you have a [insert tool]?" question for the umptieth time and the answer was yes, I laughed and said I had everything. And he had the guts to react NO YOU DON'T, YOU DON'T HAVE CHILDREN. I had to breath very deeply to keep my face straight. The next day I wrote the rap.
It was fun to write and I'm sorry most of you won't be able to understand the words. The basic message is that everyone keeps telling me how I should live my life, but thank you, my life is my own to live as I choose, and would you just leave me alone?
BTW this LO features the first product ever that I bought at SSD - Libby's Alpha Sliders.
