A colleague/friend of mine loves a certain jam and I told him not to throw the jars away, but give them to me. I kind of hoped to convert them into tea jars. He kept bringing them and I kept storing them and doing nothing about them. In the meantime I solved the tea storage dilemna by buying tea cans... and ended up stuck with dozens and dozens of empty jam jars. Until one day I saw the mess that was my Mum's spice collection and figured out she might need a cute storage system. So there we go.

The design didn't come to me easily - the final result was actually the fifth version... Once finished, the rest went pretty easily though.

This was another proof of how I'm really not into cutters - I tried to use the Martha Stewart circle cutter, but lost my patience and used good old scissors. Took less time and the results were better. But I *did* use the Xyron to make the labels sticky - but Xyron is the exception to the rule for me.

Fabulous project I love it so. I would not be able to cut so many circles (you know I hate cutting) - hats off to your skills and patience!

What a fun project! Those jars are perfect, and they line up without leaving wasted space, so perfect for storage. They turned out beautifully!
