I've decided journaling as there is more to this picture than meets the eye:
It was hard to imagine that only
three months ago you looked so skinny and
unhealthy. You cried for six weeks and
stopped only when I nursed you or when we
ran the shower. We tried every advice we
got - vacuum, dryer, chamomile tea. Finally I
decided to give you powdered milk. The crying
stopped thereafter. This Thanksgiving I'm grateful
that we got your message from
all that crying...you wanted more
food. Now, your cheeks are full and
rosy. We can't see your neck and
your wrists and those rolls are the
cutest. You thrived! Someday you'll
forgive us for being so amateur.
