We had such high hopes when we enrolled you in gymnastics for the first time this summer. You love to flip and jump and balance at home, so we thought this would be a perfect fit! You were so excited when you learned you were going to go to gymnastics class! When we first got there, you loved running around before class with all the other kids. But when class actually started, that’s when it started to go downhill. You screamed and cried the whole time and wouldn’t let go of me. So after that class, we talked a lot about participating and waiting your turn. You were ready! You kept telling me that you wanted to participate and weren’t going to cry when we went back to class. Well, it didn’t quite work out that way. You did the same crying routine, plus when we left, you threw an absolute fit and decided to hit Daddy repeatedly. You went straight to bed for that and we decided to wait another couple months for gymnastics.
