Journaling:
Our first Christmas as a married couple ended up being quite a journey. After riding a bus for over 10hrs to get to Farmington, NM, we were greeted with snow, something Yuma, AZ never saw! And while it was an experience to spend time with your mom?s family, it really wasn?t what I imagined our 1st Christmas being like. However I thank God you were even there to spend it with me since you were active duty military and the first deployments after 9/11 were already starting. So, in the end, my favorite part of Christmas was that I was able to spend it with you.
