While surgery was an option, his entire eyeball would have had to be removed. Rather than have our cat suffer, we made the sacrifice to say goodbye. awwwwwwwwww! I'm so sorry! This makes me teary. I love cats, and I can only image how I'll feel when the time comes to say goodbye to mine. This is a beautiful tribute. Thank you for sharing with us!

This makes me teary too!! I have three cats and my oldest one (4 yo) has a cataract. Beautiful tribute to your kitty.

awwwwww I am so sorry about your kitty! My dad recently had to have his 19 year old cat put to sleep and it was awful to hear a big burly guy like him cry. Pets are like family sometimes. ((HUGS))
