Journaling Reads:
After a day and a half of driving we finally made it to Pensacola. After a short stop at Nancy and Bill?s house we headed down to the beach. Caleb was so excited to get to the beach, and to just be out of the car. When we got down to the water all he did for the first 20 minutes or so was just run in and out of the surf. The water always seems so cold when you first hit it, but that didn?t stop him. He loves the ocean and all that sand. After he got some of the energy and excitement out, we got down to the business of playing in the water. We tried the boogie boards, but Caleb couldn?t quite get the hang of them. John decided to buy an air mattress and see how that worked. That did the trick. Caleb could ride the waves without going under and he loved it. He rode that air mattress for hours. Then we had to jump the waves. We had a blast for the short three days that we were there. Wish it was closer! May 2011
