journaling reads:
I never really thought of myself as a strong person. I guess I just ever had anything happen to me that would put my strength to the test. But after Colin died I found out just how strong I really was. I have talked and comforted many people who faced the same situation I did. Who would have though that after your child dies you would be helping other women
going through that same situation? Was it easy for me to do that? NO WAY! Did I get off the phone with that person and cry my head off? ABSOLUTELY! But if my experience and how I dealt with things could help someone go
through it how could I NOT help them? It makes me proud that Colin’s short life had meaning because I am able to help others
deal with a situation that no parent should ever have to deal with. And the fact that Im strong enough to do that makes me proud of myself.
