We went to Rome in summer 1997 with the school. And of course we visited the Trevi fountain, several times actually. After the day’s program we often went out in a group and hung around the city center. As everyone I made a wish, too. God, I was so very young then. I think I wished for the same thing most ask for: Happiness. And being a teenager it equaled getting a boyfriend. Looking back 15 years later I can say, I am happier than I imagined.

On our cruise in 2006 we stopped in rome. It was a really quick trip since we only had a short time there. We were lucky enough to visit the Trevi Fountain. A beautiful fountain in the midle of the city. So we all took a coin, put our backs facing the fountain and made a wish. I wished that we would be happy forever. I couldn’t be hapier with a wonderful husband and two amazing boys.
