I, Ashley, take thee, Richard, to be my lawfully wedded husband.” Pastor Byrd said to you next, “Repeat after me. I, Richard, take thee, Ashley, to be my lawfully wedded wife.” That’s when you said something like this... “I, Richard, take thee, Richard.” It took me a second to register the funny moment but when I did, I couldn’t help but bust out laughing. It’s been a long time since that moment in First Presbyterian Church. But, I have been laughing with you ever since that day. That has made my heart full and happy!"
