I love the clock. Its placement and also how it fits the vintage-y photos - it speaks of a journey back in time, of times long ago, there are so many nice clues there, just in that one element. No idea if those photos are real vintage or if it's just your photo treatment, but even if they're not old, the clock is just perfect. End of novel.
