Here’s our cute little Texas home in early May after we had completed all the work to get it ready to sell.
Friends from church gave us a nice farewell party before we moved to Utah. It was a great evening. We enjoyed visiting with many of our friends from the two wards in College Station. Towards the end, my good friend Laura Decell’s dad, M.O. Lawrence, said to us, “We’ll leave the light on for you!” It almost made me cry. What a sweet thought. We’ll always have such a warm spot in our hearts for all of our dear friends in Texas. Of course, we’ll always have our two native Texans to remind us of the homeland.
