This is my rescue dog Leia. Snatched minutes away from being euthanized like so many others before her. It always amazes me when I look back on her horrible "intake photo" how badly they portray the dogs in their photos at animal control. Is it any wonder why so many of them get overlooked?

She came to us by accident as a foster dog who had no place to go once the rescue pulled her out. She was so fantastic we couldn't let her go. It's been a year and half since she joined our family.
