I knew ths was gonna be an emotional one for me. My journaling reads
Where to begin. I have so many fears as a mother. Some guilt leaden, some small some great. Its just so hard to put them all down. To choose one that has really hit me most recently though involves my daughter Lillian. When she was only two years old she was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. We learned shortly after that things would not be easy for her. There are days shes so striken with pain she can not even walk. Its been truely heart breaking watching all the kids run around her and then her sitting alone on the sidelines watching them listfully. Lillian is a born dancer. Its in her soul of souls. There isnt a day this child isnt pracing around our home in a tutu. Shes the most delicate and feminie child I have ever met. I dont even say that on a bias as a mother. Its just part of who she is. Anyhow my fear is that she will not be able to dance. That her ankles will not support her or her legs will just give out from underneath her. I pray that she may go on to do great things but mostly to be able to dance to her hearts content.
