Shutterbug Shakedown #11 - Rural.

This was taken on our visit to Holmdel Park the other day. We live in a very populated area but in just a quick 30 minute drive you are are sudenly in jersey cow country. I thought it was cute because all of the other roosters were in a coop but this guy had escaped and was just chiling out on the outisde of the coop.

The picture was a tad dull so I did a little editing but not much. I played around with the shadows and highlights and then brought the contrast way up. Then duplicated the layer and added a soft light overlay. It really brought out the beautiful green of the grass and then made the red on the rooster pop.
