my dad was a marine... he received his honorable discharge not too long before i was 5.. i dont remember a ton of moves, but i do remember when we headed back to indianapolis and stayed at one of his marine buddy's homes.. it was a nice place, but i do remember longing for a home we wouldn't have to move from. it was so strange being there and it felt like we didn't fit there at all... luckily, we didn't stay long. i am proud of my dad for his service and loyalty to our country... and if i had been a military kid for longer, i know i would appreciate the life i was given. i always admire military families and know from my small brush of being in one, you all do a mighty service to our nation. thank you. and thank you for this awesome page!
