This turned out to be a pretty simply layout but it's the advice I plan to give my little girl when she grows up.
Journalling
I hear young couples talking about having babies and I just want to tell them to wait. Please just wait. Take some time, 5 maybe even 10 years.
You’re young and have time. Spend some time doing things and getting the “bugs” worked out in your relationship. Go to school. Do some traveling. Enjoy your young freedom. People will tell you that kids will change everything but you really have no idea how much they change until they are here. You think you are broke now, just wait until you have to spend your money on diapers instead of a night out. And when your friends who don’t have kids stop calling. No one tells you about those changes. But you know now in our 30’s that’s
not so bad. I don’t mind that date night is a movie with the 3 of us snuggled up in bed together. Going out doesn’t seem to be as much fun as it once was. Besides I would rather go to bed early with my girl and know that I’m not going to be cranky in the morning because I stayed out to late. And I would much rather spend that money on a lunch date with her and some french fries then on a few drinks at the club. See they don’t tell you how great those changes are great.....when you are ready for them. Besides everyone know the best things in life come to those who wait.
