Journaling: ?This is not a diet, this is a lifestyle. A new, healthier, better lifestyle. Of course, when I reach my goal weight, I probably won?t exercise as much as I do now, I won?t get up at 6 am to go running in the rain, I won?t weight every single bite I eat, I won?t weigh in daily... But I hope that many of the habits I?m building while losing weight will still be there when the weight loss is over. If I don?t succeed in maintaining those habits, I won?t keep the pounds off. I have to keep drinking plenty of water, to keep getting enough veggies and fruits in, to avoid empty calories and ??useless?? food, to eat on purpose, not mindlessly, to be active. I?m not doing all this, I?m not putting all those efforts in losing weight to ruin it after I reach my goal weight. I know that life might and probably will come in the way (with a pregnancy, for example!) and that I won?t be able to strictly keep my goal weight forever, but I will set myself a upper limit that I won?t cross. Hopefully, having this number in mind will help me stay on track. I will probably have to be careful forever, but I?m ready for it!?
