Journaling:
I don’t know when I decided that I wanted you to arrive
in the middle of the night, but I thought it would be really
nice to start your life with just mom and dad before all the
phone calls were made. Your timing was perfect. Unfortunately
the nursing staff had other plans and they sent you to the NICU
for 4 hours of monitoring. Turns out you were fine and we did
get an hour of family time before anyone knew you had arrived.
