To be honest, I was not thrilled about scraplifting a LO with no photos, but then I realized that I had something that NEEDED to be scrapped...with no photos! I feel like this was therapeutic for me, haha, I've been avoiding making a page about my daughter's 1st birthday party (she's about to turn 5!) because I felt like I'd have to point out the sad, sad fact that we only have a few pictures. But now I have addressed the issue & can scrapbook a happy LO with the photos that we do have!

Oh gosh, I am so sorry that you don't have the photos and videos of that special day! I think it hits us scrapbookers harder than it would someone not interested in memory keeping like we are. You've documented that day so vividly that without the photos, I can still totally picture her special day! Maybe by some miracle they will show up unexpectedly at some point ... !

Oh, this is heartbreaking! I'm so sorry! I'm glad that you journaled your memories so that Caroline can read them when she's older. I know that she'll at least appreciate that you took the time to write this out. Your layout is so sweet and feminine. I love the touches of snowflakes!

This layout is beautiful. You've captured the memories of the day. While it's heartbreaking to have lost the photos, you've created a treasured memento of the occasion.
