I'm sorry you are struggling with this issue with your son. I don't have a teen yet, but my snarky 11-year-old certainly thinks he knows everything AND knows better than his dumb old mom, so I totally get where you're coming from. Sometimes we have to let them feel the consequences of their own actions for them to change their behavior, but what a painful experience for mamas!
