Having a lot of health issues, I am used to having breaks from electronics, I know it does work, but sometimes one needs a push... Last year I was told by doctors I needed to reduce screen time. At first I thought it would be extremely difficult, I had taken breaks for weeks, even months, but this was an entirely different thing, I think we feel in control when we are the ones deciding. Anyway, thing is, I re-discovered my ability and passion for drawing. It started with a bit of doodling (what they call zentangle these days, but something I had been doing even 40 something years ago when I was in Fine Arts school) and then I remembered I had bought, in 2015, the Anti Journal & Wreck this Journal. Both are books with prompts that are very open to interpretation, and it sent me into an amazing journey. The top photo you see was the drawing I made to the Shout Colorful Language prompt, before I colored it. Also, the fading drawing in the left hand side blended into the paper is also one of mine. I have to admit I still have a few pages to finish the book , and more than half of Wreck this Journal, but haven;t gotten to it yet, pandemic, scrapping, life sometimes has other ideas that interfere with the ones we had

Anyway (again) thing was: I recovered a part of me that I had lost when I switched from the Fine Arts to the Performing ones, so I treasure the unplugging!!!
