This is gorgeous and looks so delicious! I like the dark background, but if I hadn't seen them both, I would have loved the light just fine--so whatever you are feeling, go for it! I love the super fun clusters here with the themed ellies--so cute! Great use of this template.

Yum! I like the dark but I tend to scrap more with darks. The light looks good too! Great clusters and awesome page.

I think the lighter background matches the apfelstrudel a little more. Gorgeous page regardless of which one you choose! Those paper layers are so neat.

Thank you so much, ladies! Your advice is much appreciated. At the moment, I prefer the white one over the dark one, but that can change any moment.

That looks divine! I love the lighter colors with this photo and I generally prefer darks. I think they're both stunning, though, and you really can't go wrong. Gorgeous clustering and title work!

The dessert looks yummy, but hold the raisins. I did google it to see what all is in the traditional recipe. I love the focus is on the photo and all the embellies tucked on the page.

What's funny is that I thought the difference was in the darkness of the wood haha
The black one is striking. The light one is just beautiful. I can't decide either! But yum!

Sweetie, I saw this layout some days ago and still can't decide for the color! I love apple Strudel, we call it this name here's lol but the German name is better!
Anyway this looks so tasty!Yum!
I think the dark background pop a little more the white cream on the picture and the white country card but it's just my feeling because when I look at the bright one I love it too so I'm not a big help! Lol!
This layout is just fabulous! I love all the details and especially the little German Girl with sausage so fun!

Thank you so much for all your replies and helping me choose! I still haven't decided. Lol. Lucky for me, my book isn't finished yet, so I still have time to decide before I print it. But once again, thank you so much.

LOVE Apfelstrudel. Such a gorgeous layout (personally I like the light). I love all the traditional German elements, tucked into your clusters and the leiderhosen style pattern for the light or dark paper, very clever.

Yummy!! I love both pages, but to me the dark one makes your photo pop more. You can't go wrong. Stunning page and love the regional flare in the colors and ribbon
