Simply gorgeous, I love the wood grain as the background choice, the classic sepia coloured family photo and the wonderful Christmas elements you added for that wonderful festive cheer.

Hi sweetie.
Here I am again.

We have the same rule as well. We have to test kids at home. When Malouke had Covid, she got 3 free test kits from her school.
Malouke doesn't complain about being tested all the time. But I agree with you... a lot of kids are!
The son of one of my co-workers was home for 6 to 7 weeks! First 3 weeks of Christmas vacation. Then he got sick and was home for a week. And then his classroom closed because of the number of cases. My co-worker went insane, because she had to work, take care of her son, make sure he did his online lessons and his homework. It's crazy!

But if I understand, N and O have now a two week vacation? I hope it is a little bit of a relief for you, knowing that they won't catch it in school for the next two weeks.
I think N going to play with her friend can't hurt that much. As long as the friend doesn't have any symptoms... of course, you never know... but since she already has had it, I think the odds are rather small.

Yeah, I am so excited. I'm seeing light at the end of the renovation tunnel. Lol. Most important things are ready.
I am going to physiotherapy since Friday. Last Friday it was the first time. The physiotherapist gave me a lot of information about giving birth and how they do things in the hospital I will be giving birth. Next Friday she is going to teach me some techniques on how to deal with contractions. The first lesson was very helpful, so I am looking forward to the next one.

Oh and I think for being twins, both N and O had a good birth weight, right?
And wow, way to go my friend. I carried twins nearly to the end. You made it to 36 weeks. I think that's pretty impressive. I cannot imagine how hard it was at the end of your pregnancy.

I have 15 weeks of maternity leave. I can choose to go on maternity leave starting 6 weeks before due date and 7 weeks after my due date.
But I chose to work until one week before my due date. So I have 14 weeks of maternity leave after my due date.
That means my maternity leave starts March 9th. But I do have some vacation days from last year. So I will probably stop working on March 1st.
That's in 3 weeks!

No, luckily Malouke didn't have any side effects. Her arm hurt a bit, but that was it.
So sorry to read N did have side effects. Poor girl. Luckily it went away with the right medicine.

The number of cases are dropping here. So I hope things will get better in the next few months. Winter is almost over. I think that will help a lot as well.
Stay safe my friend. And wish O and N happy school vacation from me. Hope they can relax and not think about covid, getting sick or having to be tested!

Lots of love
from all of us!
