Photos taken from a crater in Ypres during my girls weekend out with my best friend in October last year.
On 7 June 1917 during WWI in Ypres (Belgium), at 3.10u in the morning, two tunnel mines were detonated underneath the German positions at Hill 60. The 204.Division lost 687 men that day. This crater is 79.2 m (diameter) and 15.5 m deep.

I am sad I don't have this kit for the Great Outdoors series. It is beautiful. Love your travel pages

Simply stunning! I love the panoramic photo in the center of the layout and your cluster is beautiful. The geckos placed throughout the layout are cute too!

Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments. I really appreciate them.

@Kimberly: I didn't use a lot of things from the Great Outdoors: Earth Friendly kit. Only some greenery and the dirt splats.

Such a beautiful place with such a tragic history. Love how you scrap it though.

You still took beautiful photos even if the area had a tragic past, and you've used one of my all time favorite outdoor kits perfectly! Stunning layout!
