JOURNALING: (on "Under the tree" card) She was a 4-mo. old rescue from an Amish puppy mill. A Yorkshire Terrier/Chinese Crested mix. A "mutt." In some ways "damaged" by the horrible conditions in which she had come into this world. But, she is the most loving, smart, precious tiny little puppy I have ever known. She needed me, but I needed her. My last doggie had passed away the week of Thanksgiving. I'd heard "rescues" were very special dogs, but had always had "pure-breds", so, I didn't believe it -- until that winter of 2009. NOW I DO.
