The contractions were very painful when they started because I was having both front & back labor. I begged for an epidural, & they came to give me one after about 10 hours of labor. I was only 1.5 cm dialated, but since my delivery would be a twin delivery - the epidural was granted. The 1st epidural didn’t work, & I could still feel each contraction. A 2nd epidural was given. Thank goodness the 2nd worked like a charm, & after 21 hours of labor, I was able to sleep. After only 3 hours, the nurse woke us up & we went in for a c-section. It was only a short time before I heard your brother’s little cry, and then yours. I cried, too - such relief that you two had arrived safely!!
