There are a couple of subtle choices you seem to have made to construct your page. First, that picture looks like it could have been from an earlier time, not a current classroom. Additionally, the font you chose for the journaling (Child Writing) also tells the viewer that the subject is from the past. Glad you (eventually) got the dream job!

Love the pattern of the background paper and the cute little owl element overseeing it all! Great journaling! God knew what field you should go into!
