For KCB's Birthday challenge ... I hope I didn't interpret the rules for the deadline incorrectly.

My kids finally were allowed to decorate the tree just a few days before Christmas this year, even though the tree had been up over a week before that. It was pretty late, so the starry background was perfect. I decorated the tree with the ric-rac, buttons, and a star.
