For the One Word Challenge (Mar 23). I used WAY more kits than I usually do, so this was fun:

Green leaves (Happy Heart CT gift kit by SSD designers)
Paint Splotch - recolored - & staples (
Where Flowers Grow by KCB)
Leaf Stamps - recolored - (
Love is in the Air by KCB)
Template for the mat by KCB (sorry can't remember what kit!)
Edged overlay by Kiki Halbert Designs (On the Edge)
Black paper and red flower by Kiki Halbert Designs (Flutterby kit)
Torn frames by Mandy Mystiques
Date stamps by Paula Duncan Designs
Journaling: I admit to an unhealthy obsession with the ‘Twilight ’Saga by Stephenie Meyer. I was not intending to ever read it, since I tend to buck pop culture trends and shy away from what’s popular. Char, who doesn’t read sci-fi or fantasy and hates the vampire kind of things handed the book to me
and said she couldn’t put it down. For the next two days I was obsessed. At this point I have read up through ‘Eclipse’ which I finished this morning. As
a writer I’ve read them with a critical eye and tried (unsuccessfully) to figure out why they are so addictive. Is it the plot’s huge number of twists and turns? Or the characters that are too good to be true, but who we love anyway? Or the fantastic idea that legends and myths walk among us, battling evil and
protecting us? I truly wish I knew!
