This is the last photo taken of my Grammy before she passed away on New Year's Eve.
I did this LO for the March Portfolio #24 (scrap a woman who has deeply impacted my life).
Journaling reads:
On December 31, 2009, Grammy lost her battle with emphysema. As I put away the things that she left me, my thoughts are consumed with her. I remember the late nighs that she and I shared just sitting in her room talking and working on crossword puzzles, reading books, watching scary movies and I feel a little empty. She was one of the women in my life that made a huge impact on who I am. She taught me a lot about life and love and she helped me to realize what kind of person I wanted to be. She had a big heart and she was always willing to give what she had to bless the lives of others. She was also extremely creative. She could take a piece of junk and make it a work of art. I learned a lot from Grammy and feel blessed to have had her in my life. I know she passed on the me some of that creativity and some of her compassion. I will miss her terribly, but know that we will meet again. Until then, God be with you Grammy.
