This is my layout for the March Portfolio number 25 - Rule of Thirds.
Journaling reads: Raising a deaf child is not the easiest thing. Sometimes you have to think outside of the “norm.” When I learned that Isaac
was deaf, I didn’t realize how much of a blessing and a challenge it would be. The things that most people take for granted, I learned that we would have to work for. Isaac received cochlear implants but it was our job to “teach” him to hear and to learn language. Most kids just learn and pick things up on their own, but with Isaac, he had to be taught everything. We used Mr. Potatohead to teach Isaac about body parts. We used a fun thing to help teach him - he thought he was playing, but it was really just a new way to learn.
