Journaling:
I am not generally a fearful or nervous driver. But driving, under certain very specific circumstances scares me more than pretty much anything. Trucks- big rigs with more wheels than I care to count- are the source of my fear. I hate driving near them, especially next to them. By far, the most frightening situation for me is driving alongside a big truck on a bridge. I envision the truck coming into my lane and squashing us like a bug, or even worse... well, you can imagine where my mind goes. By the time i make it to the other side of the bridge, I realize that I have been holding my breath the whole way, and my knuckles are white from gripping my steering wheel for dear life. I guess it’s a good thing for me that I don’t have to make trips like these very often!
