Ever since I was a teenager I had wanted some small way to let some troops know how much I value my freedom that they give me each and every day. I found a way one year and jumped at the chance ... it was just my heartfelt thanks to the troops.

The dog tag says:
...and yes, I did cry when Tony Orlando sang that song (Tie a Yellow ribbon...was singing it to the troops that had returned home)... just as I did
