Sweet Shoppe Designs

In Slovakia we celebrate 'namedays'. Every day in a calendar has a certain name(s) assigned. Nameday celebration is not as big as birthday celebration, but people usualy buy each other chocolate or/and a little flower or any other little gift.

I have decided to collect some name meanings and characteristics of the names of my closest co-workers and create such original gifts for them.

After creating layout for Vlasta I continue this 'gift project' with Roman, who celebrates his nameday on 23rd February. Men with this name are hard-working, good planners, always having right attidute and they prefer their families above everything else... but they are also stubborn and of very complicated nature sometimes. 'Roman' means 'citizen of Rome' and its Italian version is 'Romeo'... that's why I used a quoter from Shakerspeare's Romeo and Juliet: What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet..
