Journaling:
In 2008 our world was turned upside down. Mackenzie was about 2.5 and I was pregnant with Lincoln. The economy started to crash. Josh was working as a real estate agent at the time and sales were really slowing down. Before I realized what was happening it was to late. I felt hopeless, there was nothing I could do to save our house. I felt like such a loser at only 26 years old I was losing my home. I remember packing up the last of our things. I didn't want to but Josh told me we had to take pictures. He said we will look back one day and be glad we did. I remember getting in to the suburban (The only car we had left….my Tahoe was already taken away from me). I just cried. We spent hours decorating and making this house a home. This was where I was planning to raise our children. I once had a clear picture of what the future was going to look like and at that moment the picture was gone. I still get teary eyed thinking about it. I often think where we would be if we were able to save the house. But then I realize I would not be the person I am today. I would not have learned the lessons that I learned. Four years later I can truly say that I am glad it all happened. A life lesson that I will never forget.

Back - All photos tucked behind paper
Inward - House framed with wooden frame and key framed.
Twisting- 1 blue ribbon, 1 blue string, and 1 green ribbon.
Armstand - House, "2008", and word art "we are family" all upside down.

Wonderful layout! It really is true what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I don't know anyone who hasn't been affected by the economy. I love how you layered and angled your papers!
