My hometown, while small, has lots to love.
Elk Grove Park - Giant Pumpkin Festival, Western Festival, Strauss Festival, 4th of July Fireworks, duck pond, walk track, bike park, dog park, swim lessons, can all be found at this one-of-a-kind community park. We toured our home during the GPF and the fact that we could walk there made me fall in love with this community.
Old Town - Chili Festival, Christmas Tree Lighting, Dickens Festival & Parade of Lights, Western Festival Parade and all the shops, My daughter walked in the Christmas Light parade with her theater group and we ran into so many friends. My girls have both walked in the Western Festival parade.
Library programs - Our library is so wonderful with weekly programs - magic shows (where my son got to do some magic), art, animals, story time and more. Creek walk - We are surrounded by creeks, streams and walking trails. Perfect to stroll down, explore wild life and take photos.
Park/Spraygrounds - We have 101 parks and 11 spraygrounds!
