After living in Paris for 33 years, I decided to join my family in the Center region near Orleans.
I wanted my children to grow up close to nature, not to suffer the stress of the capital and to flourish in the quiet of the countryside.
Even if I miss Paris and the advantages of big cities, I do not regret my choice.
We love to go on a walk and discover new places. There are plenty of things to do.
We are lucky enough to live in a medieval city on the board of the Loire and in the middle of wheat fields. There are also all the castles of the Loire but our favorite stay Chambord.
There is also the city of Blois, the Beauval Zoo and so many other things ..
What displeases me the most here are the rumors, the lack of open-mindedness and the cold and closed side of people. In Paris it was very different. And the worst is the medical desert
Later, I think that we will change region to go further south to our origins but it will be another adventure.
