Who would have thought that our "new normal" would consist of mom being home fulltime, kids being out of school for a minimum of 2 weeks AND Abby & Ben totally on night owl schedules. Peyton has all of his school work and his laptop to do everything he needs to do at home, except for the daily routine of school. It is overwhelming for him to look at all of the work he has and be able to "chunk" it in to reasonable work. Hopefully Matt and I can figure out a way to spread his work out so his anxiety is not through the roof. The other "new normal" is Abby ACTUALLY doing her school work from home. She has refused to basically do any work all year in school and now that she is home, she seems to be much more capable of planning her work out and getting it done and uploaded. She has also been able to video chat with numerous class mates at once so if she has a question she has the resources right there to help her through it. However, I am NOT adjusting well to this "new normal" because it causes me more anxiety than I already have.Since I already feel like I can NEVER get anything accomplished, this makes me feel like I am even more behind I am just completely overwhelmed and this "new normal" is making my anxiety and depression go in to over drive. So here's to hoping, for moms sake, this "new normal" is only temporary!

Silly me! I sat here adjusting my glasses in and out so that I could read your journaling. Then...scrolled down and there it was in the post. lol Anyway...great job documenting what your family is going through and how y'all are handling it. Hang in there, Momma! (Great clustering, by the way.)

Wow this is perfect. Your clusters are amazing! I love how you used the kit. I love your story as well. And you are right, this is a new normal right now. Stay safe and healthy!

About the new normal I feel you! It is all so weird, but you have documented it amazingly

Great use of the kit Angie - piling up the elements to reflect the load you're feeling right now. Stay strong - you will get through this. Big hugs.

Great page and great journaling! I think a lot of people are feeling the way you are right now! I know I am! Hopefully this is just a small window of time we have to adjust and things will be back to normal again soon. In the meantime whenever my kids are complaining, I keep saying "Sorry kids, this is history in the making", lol, it's my reason for everything now.
