I pulled all the photos I had of my grandfather when he was battling Stage 4 cancer the last few years. He passed away last October & so I'm working on that backlog of photos now. I didn't scrap this photo in my 2012 album but it will hold a place in my 2020 album. He lived in a nursing home the last few months of his life and would have HATED being stuck there with no visitors and maybe he would have caught COVID (and if so would have surely died from it or its complications with his age & health conditions) if he had lived until now so maybe it was for the best that he passed when he did.
