Again, here I tried to choose a legible font because I know by now this system deletes when I copy and paste., but, in not so many words, my family is from the Middle East, Syrian, some from Turkey, who left in then very early 1900s to Spain, then to both of the Americas. Since we are born, they attached some form of eye or a tiny horn or a hand, and our color is mostly blue, some red. This is more a "protection" from what they call the "evil eye" I tried to escape my mum's intense training when I was young, but then I moved into the show business and theater people have even more stuff than my mum ever did (do NEVER go on stage wearing yellow! and so many more) and then one day I realized I was buying stuff myself... There is also the number 5, and in my family you wont find many who take a picture without showing an open hand (5 fingers! LOL) the number 5 in Arabic (the word "jamse or hamse" is also used as a protection. The bracelets in the photos some are from Turkey, some Brazil some Argentina, I couldn't find a photo of our rear view mirror which has a huge glass medallion with an eye hanging of it, we wont have another car until the pandemic is sorted reasonably, but still have the eye waiting for it LOL I also have tons of key rings that have eyes or little horns or the Hamsa hand... I do believe we (some people more than others) have a strong mind power, sometimes people emotionally have "vibes" they may not even realize... I do not think that the material stuff can protect us, but hey...no harm in having, right? LOL

I'm totally in love with this one Cynthia! I didn't know you family origin, it's great! I know about the eyes, a long time ago we used to have dinner in a turkish restaurant and the owner give one eye keyring to my grandfather, he always kept it with him in his car, I'm sure it help him! I went to Turkey a long time ago too and have one bracelet like your but had no idea where it is. I love this symbol! I know less for the number 5 and this is so interesting! I'm kind of people who love the protection symbol even if like you said it's material stuff, you're so true there's no harm having it!
Just love the way you scrap it so clever and artsy! Love your pictures and your bracelets are so beautiful!
And love how you add all the symbol! Great layout Cynthia and very interesting, thank you for all the explanations!
