The aftermath once treatment is over, I think that's the hardest part. You still feel broken but more on the inside. You smile as that's what everyone expects & treatment is over so now you're "cured" but really you're not. Now it's time to work on healing from the inside which I think takes the longest & is the hardest part of the journey.

Wow, you hit the nail on the head. I can relate to every single word. People don't understand that. Of course you are happy you are better, but there is so much to process after cancer diagnosis and treatment! Sending good thoughts your way!
