We nearly lost mum earlier this year, and as a result, she had a lengthy stay in hospital. She was still in hospital on Mothers Day, so Michael and Jen travelled down from QLD to see her.
We had a lovely lunch in the gardens at the hospital, and then later that night went out for dinner. Looking back, this was my favourite day of 2021 as it was such a special day with mum, and I got to spend Mothers Day with my son for the first time in years.
