one of the worse collateral effects of some failed operations in 2003, more than any mobility issues, is the neurological impairments which mess about with my reading & writing.... I got The Woman in the Window when just came out and none was talking about it, Sarita passed to on to me. It took me at least 3 months to read it...a few years ago I would have done in 4 days, maximum a week...ph well, at least I still can :)

Cynthia, this is so beautifully laid out, I am in love with the design! I am so sorry that reading has become so difficult for you, that's incredibly tough!

Awe honey, I'm sorry to hear that reading causes you so much pain. Your creations still grab me and pull me in. Glad you're still able to create pages like this. Beautiful :) Hugs!

You scrapped so beautifully about a painful situation. This is just beautiful, and as a fellow reader, I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles.

So many great things here. Love the little boxed areas and the book covers, love the stitches and the girl reading art. Fun page

Love the blocking here - love the mix of the organization with the art/paint bits which feel more free spirited. Such a gorgeous page! I liked that book too. I'm sorry that isn't easy anymore. Can you listen like with Audible?

Fantastic blocking! Love all the different elements. Reading is my absolutely favorite thing to do so I can only imagine how hard it is to know that you can't. I'm glad that you still can even if it isn't as fast as it used to be.

I really love the way you scrap about this most than difficult time in your life with so much delicateness and precious way. Your layout isn't sad or negative and you always end with a positive end which is a reason why I admire you! You are a warrior and so courageous! I love the soft colors and the great pocket page with the stitches as the cute wordarts, so creative and so much details to admire!:)

I'm sorry to hear about your struggles.... thankful that you can still read though; clearly you're a fighter! Your LO is beautiful; love the stitching and use of the jc and word art.
