This makes me happy. (I realize that's not why you scrapped it, but there ya go lol!) I'm afraid I'm going to jump on a soap box, so let me just say that you are RIGHT and that I hope you continue to help others realize the effects of math's importance.
Such a great page to showcase your wish!

I love the balance of the white space at the top and the clustered/jumbled elements at the bottom. Very nice visually!

Standing on my soapbox: Well, as the mom with a kid who has truly struggled with math when the rest of the family has no problems with it and generally thinks it easy (dad has a math degree and works problems out of his old college texts for fun. seriously.), I firmly believe that there all types. Yes, she can do math and she is not that bad at it despite her extreme dislike, but it has been a struggle for her and that influences her thoughts. Her gifts are with words - something the rest of us family members don't really grasp in the same way LOL Nope, not a fan of the new math, either. It just made her struggle more on many occasions. Now, all that said. She is studying to be an elementary teacher and will have to teach the aforementioned dreaded subject to her future students and I hope that her struggles over the years will help her in her career. A good teacher can make all the difference in the outcome!

Love your journaling, and your page. My daughter is one of those that thinks she sucks at math (she doesn't), but won't give it a chance. Love that you scrapped about it!

Love your journaling and the subject. I've always been one to say that I'm not good at math but actually, I was always decent at it and took calculus and astronomy (ok, so that WAS too much math) into college. I guess closer to the truth is that I'm not good a math in my head and it doesn't come intuitively to me like it does for some people. Now that I'm a lawyer, I appreciate math for the fact that there are actual verifiable answers! I could use more of that in my life!

Perfect kit to go with your great photo. Math was my most favorite subject in school and I agree with your journaling.

What a fun take on the challenge. I love the story and your page design. I love the details and clusters as well. Congratulations with your GSO. Totally deserved.

This is a great layout! Love your heartfelt journaling & design of your page! Having had 4 kids (3 for whom math was easy and 1 who struggled with math even way back in kindergarten), I do think that good math teachers make such a difference - thank you for what you do!
