Hey Sweetie, you are faster than me! Lol! Our messages crosses!
Thank you for your kind words, I told N what you told me too and it brings her some comfort. (We still have the Sinterklass package candies because they want to keep it a little more lol).
Unfortunately last week, nothing happens because the teacher's kid was sick the afternoon and the principal couldn't talk to her, she promises N she was going to talk with her the day after but nothing... N didn't except anything from her but I was so disapointed. Then the teacher was sick and then O and N too and didn't go to school for the end of the week. They go back today and honestly the trip to go was so cold as they both were so anxious... And we have a big wind storm wich doesn't help as I'm not fan of this for driving. (actually lots of fallen trees and no electricity in some places but no big disaster fortunately).
It's status quo unfortunately. She will see her psychologist on wenesday but I hope it will help at some point. I'm trying to find another solutions but I don't have any idea of what I can do more.
I hope you are all fine and better? And that you finally have sleep to recover a little this last month?
How is Finn now? I hope he is better and no more cold. The same for Malouke, School are full of virus, I totally agree!
I think a lot of you all sweet friends I'm sorry not writing you earlier!
Lots of Love and hugs to you all from us!

Oh no, my sweet friend. I am so sorry for you and Nahia that the teacher didn't take the time to talk to N. Ugh, I can totally understand that it is so disapointing.
I cross my fingers that it will happen this week. But like you said... don't get your hopes up.
So sorry to read they both got sick again. Did they have the flu? Or a viral infection? Ugh. It continues! Hope they are all better now.
I can imagine they were not in the mood to go back to school. With all that has happened... I wouldn't be happy to go back as well. Lol.
But yikes for the wind storm. That must be so scary. We have lots of wind and rain as well. It seems like it has started to rain almost two weeks ago and it didn't stop. It is still raining at the moment. It is so depressing. I want to get out with Finn in his stroller, but we have no luck. We can't go out during week days, because it is dark when we arrive home from work. And last weekend... all it did was rain.
What's the weatherforecast for the next couple of days where you live?
Here they are expecting melting snow.
Finn is doing better, but not in sleeping. He has no trouble falling asleep in the beginning of the night. He starts the night in his own bed, but when he wakes up, we are having a hard time putting him back to sleep. The only things that helps, is letting him sleep in our bed. But still, he wakes up several times a night and so do I. Because Ward can't sleep in our bed when Finn is lying there, he sleeps on the couch and has a good night. Lol.
In the night from Saturday to Sunday, Finn woke up at two am. He was awake for almost an hour and fell back asleep to four am. Then he was ready to get up and start the day. I was exhausted!
Lots of love and hugs to all of you.
I will be thinking of all of you, especially N.

Hey Sweetie,
I was looking for my old message I started to do but as you know lots of things changes since.
Thank you, Sweetie, for your kind words again!
Yes, this is so disappointing.
I try to call the principal today again but actually I'm on vocal recorder. I hate phone calling so I'm doing my best! lol!
No, this time they have the stomach flu, it seems everybody catch it at school (teachers too) fortunately they are better now, but they were not good for 3 days. They have time to recover and sleep a little.
Oh yeah, I hate windstorm. I think this is scary too lol. I know some people doesn't have problem with that, but I always hate wind.
We have lots of wind and rain too. Sometimes a little ray of sun and 5 seconds after rain. As you said it is so depressing. I totally agree! Clearly this isn't cool to do a walk with Finn!
I totally understand it, you can't go 5 minutes, it rains and not fun! I hope we will have better day soon. I know we need water for sure but a dry cold with sun would be cool!
We are expecting melting snow too, but this is not clear, it keeps changing. I'm not sure because some forecast weather tells us another windstorm tomorrow and some snow or melting snow so no idea except it's colder for sure lol!
What about you?
It would be great to have a little snow for kids, Finn would see his first snow!
Well, I must admit I don't like driving with snow or ice too, ok I'm boring!
This is original Finn has no trouble falling asleep in the beginning of the night and then not.
Do you have an idea of why He doesn't want to sleep after?
This is great if Ward shares the night with you not only you not sleeping because it's just exhausting.
Lots of love and hugs to all of you.

So As you know things move a little lol
Well I can't say it's better unfortunately. N teacher talked to her (I guess the principal talked to her again either) so it seems to be better but now it's O who suffers with OCD and lots of stress... We are not sure why but we know all the homework they do are not what she ask in evaluation so he is just tired to work so much (more than 4 hours today) for nothing. I admit I'm totally lost myself.
The psychologist talk to the scolar psychologist and explain us lots of things (I will tell you on Whatsapp). I think I'm going to call again the school tomorrow but I just feel so tired.
What about Finn? And you my sweet friend?
I hope he is fine and sleeps a little better so you can feel better?
I'm so sorry for what you told me on WhatsApp, I'm going to answer you there Sweetie but know I'm with you my friend!
I feel very sad to learn it and share your pain.
I pray for you and think a lot of you all!
For a lighter topic, what is the weather at yours? Do you have finally snow? Is it colder?
Finally the snow goes away but we had black ice on the morning and then freezing fog. Fortunately it didn't slip too much on the road, they put some salt.
They say it could snow again this night and tomorrow morning and as it's very cold it could stay. I truly hope not for driving.
Again I'm sorry not answering you soon but you are in my heart my sweet friend!
Tons of love to you and all your family especially Finn!

@Emily
Hi sweetie, I was so happy to hear from you.
I was happy to read that N is doing better, but it makes me sad that O is having lots of stress. Poor boy!
I cross my fingers and hope this school week will be one with not so much stress. Ugh! School can be so overwhelming for children. I feel so sorry that they both suffer and that there isn't much I (and you can do).
Let me know how it goes. I think of them every day they go school and cross my fingers every day that they both have a nice and easy day.
It musn't been easy for you as well. How are you holding up? Can you talk to your family about it? Can they help you?
We had snow on Friday. Yay!
It was only a little bit. It was snowing from 8 am until 10 am. I was with my parents that day and I had to be quick and ran out at 11 am to take a few photos of Finn, because the snow was mostly gone already. By 1 pm, there was no snow left.
But in Turnhout (that is the city I work in), they had lots of snow. I think between 7 and 15 cm of snow. So luckily I didn't have to go to the office on Friday otherwise, I would have had problems with public transportation.
Yes, Belgium always has problems with public transportation when it snows. It's frustrating.
But I did manage to get a few photos with Finn, so I was happy.
And we visited my grandparents in the retirement home on Sunday (it's in a city called Geel) there was lots of snow as well. So I took a few photos of Finn again. When we left the retirement home after the visit, it started to snow again.
How is it at your place? Did it snow last night or this morning?
Yikes, I hate black snow. It is so dirty and it is just one big mess.
I hope everything went well and you didn't have to drive in the snow.
I have no idea why Finn doesn't want to sleep in his bed after he wakes up. I guess he is used to sleeping in my bed from the time he was sick.
This week Malouke is with us, so we try to keep Finn calm (not crying too much). We don't want Finn to wake up Malouke several times a night. The easiest way to calm Finn down is to take him in our bed. I know, bad habit and I wish he would just sleep in his own bed.
I have an appointment with his osteopath next Monday. She has helped us in the past. I hope she has some advice for us next week.
Anyway... Lots and lots of love.
I think of all three of you this week. I hope it gets better for both N and O.
