This or That Challenges
9a - Good Eats: Dine In

Journaling: This meal started from a freebie offered by Tracey... She had added empenadas for her kit and we all love them!
So we decided to make a small Mexican dinner at home.
We found the dishes we wanted and here is an improvised festive meal that everyone loves!
We had fun and enjoyed a lot. To do again quickly!

I used kit: Fiesta Mexicana Bundle by Clever Monkey Graphics

Oh sweetie. This is so beautiful! I LOVE the photos and the story.
I LOVE mexican food. It is my favorite (besides Sushi). I think we buy more or less the same empanadas in the supermarket. At least, they look the same.
I love your layout as well. I love how you did the title (so creative), I love all the pretty clusters and colors as well. And I LOVE how you included all the themed elements. You did such a wonderful job with Tracey her collection!

Thank you so much for your kind message, my friend!
But are you serious? You still have storm warnings? Yikes! That must be scary. It's nearly a week that you have these warnings.
Are the storms bad? I mean, do you lose power or internet? I hope you all are safe and don't have any damage to your house.

So sorry to read N and O got sick again. How are they feeling now? Are they back in school?
Are they afraid of the storms?

We're all good here.
Finn had a little scare yesterday. He went to visit my grandparents at the elderly home together with my mom. Another woman who lives there as well punched my grandmother for no reason while she, my mom and Finn (in his chariot) were walking down the hall.
My grandmother fell and while she fell she grabbed the chariot because she wanted something to hang on to. Both my grandmother, Finn and the chariot fell on the floor. Finn got really scared and started to scream. My mom fell guilty and was in shock because of Finn his reaction and both my grandmother and him being on the floor.
The nurse came by and said that the lady who punched my grandmother wasn't feeling like herself the last couple of days.
The nurse checked on my grandmother and on Finn. They both seemed to be fine. My poor mom felt really guilty for not being able to prevent them from hitting the floor. She started crying too.
The nurse came to check on my grandmother twice afterwards. And they will keep an eye on her today as well.

But other than that, we are all fine.
Lots of love and hugs from all of us to all of you!
I really hope your kiddos are feeling better today!

So colorful and fun! Love all the themed elements and how the wooden background adds a warm feeling to your page. Great job on this!
