JOURNALING: We saw this off beat, strange little play at Curtain Players on October 29, 2023. The plot centers around a working class bar in a small town after nuclear bombs have pretty much destroyed the rest of the country. The characters are trying to decide what to do when a traveling salesman, who turns out to be God, offers the bartender immortality if he will write a new Bible and get it right this time. It had some funny moments and all of the seven cast members were excellent in their roles. The leads, Daniel Sawtelle as Shep and Christa Lain as Virginia, were especially good.
