RJMJ Sweet Cheeks Registered: September 2016 Posts: 72	Choose Your Own Adventure : May 2024 This Or That : Emotion Going through grief has been the toughest challenge I have done to date in my life...I once thought breaking my neck & arm,wearing a painful collar & brace for months [which I no longer wear now] & learning to walk again [I now I walk with a cane ]...were the hardest & most painful things I would ever go through...Grief is a different kind of pain altogether...And when you add that to everything else I'm going through...Days are often overwhelming...I often feel like I'm invisible & all alone...Everybody has seemingly moved on with their lives after my husband's death...but I struggle daily...eventhough,I may not cry 24 hours a day...or talk about it every moment of each & everyday...it is always there...I actually feel worse...I had people around me to talk to then...And now with no one around me who really understands...or wants to hear about these things anymore...and with my closest friend,now,living so far away...I have never felt so all alone...My layouts are my own form of self-help therapy... I am so sorry for what you are going through, I can not even imagine that kind of pain. Your layout is absolutely stunning. I really find it so inspirational and evocative, you can definitely feel your pain. I hope creating this was a little bit cathartic for you. hugs

My dear, dear girl... I'm kinda back, so at least one scrapping friend who understands you is here again...finding you here as I come back to scrapping, and the one day I decided to look in the front page of the gallery..... knew it was you from the thumbnail but was surprised as I had never saw you here before I stopped scrapping, make me happy seeing you! We need a proper catch up, Rhonda, not sure if you know I am on a waiting list for operations in my hands and right arm, can't type much so I can only come when I have help, but wanted to tell you how much I missed you, I asked Christa to tell you how much I love you when I heard about Ray's passing.... promise I will catch up with you asap. Is wonderful seeing you here, the page is a proper Rhonda Page.... with all the emotion and intensity that our creative heart brings, amazing as always, even when we put pain and grief through the canvas...Huge huggzzz

I am so sorry to for what you are going through Ronda. I wish I could come over and give you the biggest hug! I hope scrapping is terpauetic and being in the scrapbooking community will bring you some comfort. Even if it's just virtually. I know I have had times that helped me a lot.
I am amazed at how well you are able to express yourself and your feelings in your art. The dozens of layers in your page remind me of the dozens of layers of feelings you are describing. Great big hug xxx
